Executive summary

This QUOTE ENGINE framework allows a brokerage to FULLY PROGRAM the quote behavior to be delivered to Mt4 from more than 15 sources. The way one writes an Expert Advisor to trade in MetaTrader 4, the same way one can write a Quote Program to decide how, when, and which Bid and Ask the quote engine will deliver to MetaTrader 4.

What can the Quote engine do?

One could program the quote engine to:

Provide custom spreads, for example, but not limited to:
- To deliver the average spreads of a few liquidity providers
- To deliver a spread of X during Y hours and Z during Z hours
- To deliver a spread of X if the average spread is X or below X but otherwise to deliver the average spread + 1 pip
- To deliver a spread of Y pips on EURUSD when EURGBP is moving more then Z quotes per second
Provide custom quote values, for example, but not limited to:
- To deliver the average BID and ASK for all symbols from 3 different quote providers
- To shift the prices UP or DOWN, if the broker book is LONG or SHORT more then X lots
- To provide quotes from provider X during European Market times and from provider Y otherwise
- To provide EURUSD quotes from provider X, and GBPUSD quotes from provider Y
Other ideas we haven't thought of, the possibilities are endless.

Can I run this system in conjunction with a BT bridge to STP trades?

Yes of course. It was designed for it.

Where is this program installed?

This program is installed on its own server. We recommend to use a different server then your Mt4 server BUT on the same Local Area Network.

What do I need to install it?

We can install it for you. All we need is radmin access to the machine where you want it installed and Mt4 access to configure the MT4 feeder and verify that it is working well.

What if I don't have an Mt4 server?

Then please contact us, we can help you with that.

Can I use it on platforms other than Mt4?

Yes, please contact us for a quote.

Can I run more then 1 quote engine in the same time?

Yes of course, on separate servers.

In how long can I have it working?

Typically after we install it you will need some time to understand, experiment and test your ideas with it. This depends mostly on you.

Can you write Quote Programs to fit my custom requirements?

Yes, of course, but for a reasonable fee.

How reliable is it?

Can this quote engine do Forex only or CFDs and other instruments?

It can do any instrument.

Is there a risk it will damage my MT4?

The worst thing that can happen is that it might either stop working (and we always recommend having a backup quote engine for live environments running in the same time) or for the quote engine to send the wrong values. Both these scenarios are very unlikely and depend on the quality of the programs you will be writing in your quote engine.

Is this quote engine evil for traders?

This quotes engine is a computer program which will be used by humans. Humans will decide what this computer software will do and as such we have no control over it. It can be used to do good (to provide better user experience to traders and better liquidity) or for evil. However in our experience traders are intelligent and will run away from your brokerage if they are not happy with your brokerage services.
