BT Announces Web Services

Boston, MA March 9, 2011

Boston Technologies is ecstatic to announce the debut of its Web Services (v1.0 BETA).  The Boston Technologies Web Services empowers brokerages with virtually unbridled access to their client accounts, MT4 groups, brokerage details, quotes, and a myriad of other exclusive data.  It also gives brokerages the ability to modify client MT4 information, and even create client MT4 accounts with ease.  The service is W3C compliant with request and response standards; also, data integrity is secured via HTTPS and a unique key authentication system.  This service is ideal for Boston Technologies' supported brokerages who wish to have customized access to data from anywhere, at any time.

The service provides your brokerage with multiple ways to access client data in real-time.  By utilizing Boston Technologies' GDB (Global Database) architecture, data is streamed directly from MT4 servers.  Brokerages can obtain and modify MT4 account data for clients, fetch MT4 group data, obtain brokerage information, gather MT4 information, stream quotes, and much more.

The service implements HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure) to traffic data, applies a unique key authentication system to validate data integrity, and makes use of the W3C HTTP standards for requests and responses.  The web service is a RESTful interface, requiring the user to follow certain request/response specifications, which are explained in the web service's documentation. To obtain a web service key, please contact Boston Technologies.
